Privacy Policy

Memory SoundX ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Central Domains LLC (Bundle IDs: com.privedigital.MemorySoundx on iOS, com.centraldomains.memorysoundx on Android). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Memory SoundX app and website, and how it is used.

1. No Account Required

Memory SoundX does not require you to create an account. You can play, track streaks, and accumulate scores entirely without registering. All gameplay data (streak count, high scores, mastery progress) is stored locally on your device using native storage (NSUserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android). No account data is transmitted to our servers.

2. Game Center & Google Play Games

If you opt in to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), your scores are submitted to global leaderboards. Game Center data is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Google Play Games data is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your personal information associated with these accounts. Score submission is anonymous to us — we only see aggregated leaderboard rankings.

3. Advertising

The Android version of Memory SoundX contains zero ads. The free tier of the iOS version displays a single Google AdMob banner. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA) for ad targeting, subject to your device's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) settings. When you purchase Memory SoundX Pro on iOS, the banner is permanently removed.

4. In-App Purchases

All in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple via the App Store (iOS) or Google via Google Play Billing (Android). We do not collect or store payment card information. We receive only a non-personal transaction receipt confirming a product was purchased.

5. Analytics (Website)

The Memory SoundX website (memorysoundx.com) may use privacy-preserving analytics to count page views and understand which pages are most visited. No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymized or not stored. The mobile apps do not include any third-party analytics SDKs beyond what is described in sections 2 and 3 above.

6. No Cross-Site Tracking

Memory SoundX does not use cross-site or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Cloud Sync (Pro Tier)

Memory SoundX Pro enables cloud sync (iCloud on iOS, Google Play Saved Games on Android) for streak data and high scores. This data is encrypted by Apple and Google in transit and at rest. We cannot access your cloud data.

8. Children

Memory SoundX does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Game Center, Google Play Games, and advertising are subject to Apple and Google's child privacy protections when enabled on family accounts.

9. Data Deletion

To delete all local app data on iOS: go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Memory SoundX → Delete App. On Android: go to Settings → Apps → Memory SoundX → Storage → Clear Data. To delete cloud scores, contact Apple Support or manage via the Google Play Games app.

10. GDPR (European Users)

Under GDPR, the only personal data processed is the Google AdMob IDFA (iOS free tier only, with your ATT consent) and pseudonymous score data (with your opt-in).

11. CCPA (California Residents)

We do not sell personal information as defined by CCPA. The AdMob IDFA shared with Google for iOS advertising constitutes a "sharing" under CCPA. You may opt out via the ATT settings on your iPhone.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
